About the Opportunity

Join our highly respected National Ecology team! We are expanding and seeking a mid-level Ecologist/Botanist for our Brisbane office. The ideal candidate will have experience in ecological consulting with developing skills in surveys, reporting, and assessments. We seek passionate individuals committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. About You
• A degree/post-graduate qualification in environmental science, botany, zoology (or similar)
• A high level of motivation and self-direction with a wiliness to travel and work flexible hours
• Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and undertaking flora surveys in Queensland or Nationally
• Plant identification and vegetation mapping experience from Queensland or Nationally
• An ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders including, and not limited to, clients, government agencies and fellow team members
• Demonstrated experience in the collection and interpretation of ecological and spatial data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including prior experience in assisting with the preparation of reports
• Prior experience and/or knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth environmental legislation is highly regarded
