Climate Scientist

About the Position

This full-time research position is located at the University of Washington and is part of the Climate Impacts Group. The group works to advance understanding of climate risks and enable science-based action to manage those risks.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and interpret climate impacts data, synthesizing relevant science, and documenting results in both the grey and peer-reviewed literature.
• Develop, support, and maintain communications efforts;
• Assist with the administration and smooth functioning of the Office;
• Help identify and scope new proposals;
• Participate in developing communications products including fact sheets, presentations, and visualizations;
• Deliver presentations for select audiences;
• Help assess and develop priorities for WASCO engagement.
