About the Role
We are actively seeking a talented Senior Counsel - Finance to become a key member of our legal team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary legal advisor for intricate project finance transactions, directly supporting our growth strategy and renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, maintain an active bar membership, and possess at least 8 years of relevant legal experience focusing on financing transactions.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading strategic finance transactions, collaborating with diverse internal and external teams, and providing comprehensive legal guidance on various commercial agreements. A profound understanding of project finance, tax monetization structures, and expertise in renewable energy finance is essential.
Key responsibilities consist of the following:
Advising on a variety of financial structuresLeading borrower-side due diligenceManaging execution of legal workstreams for transaction closingsSupporting commercial and development transactionsAdvising on governance and internal legal mattersContributing to scalable legal infrastructureThe successful applicant will demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
