We are now looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Sales & Growth Lead to support our transition into a more structured, revenue-generating business.
Position Summary
Madam Waste is seeking a proactive, results-oriented Sales & Growth Lead to drive revenue, convert leads into paying clients, and expand our commercial footprint.

This is a part-time, commission-based role

Key Responsibilities1.
Revenue
Generation & Sales Conversion
Drive sales across Madam Waste’s core offerings:Soil Mate compost (bulk & retail)Waste audits and pilot programmesCorporate workshops and trainingGreen event servicesPodcast sponsorshipConvert qualified leads into paying clients through structured follow-upsPresent clear, well-packaged solutions with defined scope, pricing, and timelines
2. Lead Generation & Business Development
Identify and pursue opportunities across:CorporatesSchools and universitiesEstates and property managersEvents and hospitality sectorConduct proactive outreach via email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Business, and networkingBuild and maintain a strong sales pipeline

Sales Pipeline
Management
Maintain and update a structured sales tracker, including:Leads generatedMeetings heldProposals issuedDeals closedGuide clients through the sales funnel:Lead → Entry Product → Pilot → Scaled EngagementProvide weekly updates on performance and opportunities
4.
Client
Engagement & Relationship Building
Build and maintain strong client and partner relationshipsRepresent Madam Waste at:Site visitsEvents and exhibitionsWorkshops and demonstrationsEnsure smooth handover to operations after deal closure
5. Sales-Driven Marketing Support
Support targeted marketing efforts focused on conversion, not just awarenessPromote:Case studiesTestimonialsService offeringsDrive traffic to conversion channels (e.g. WhatsApp, booking links)
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum
Matric (Grade 12)
; tertiary qualification in business, marketing, environmental studies, or related field is advantageous
Proven ability to generate leads and close dealsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable engaging with diverse stakeholdersProficient in
Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
Interest in sustainability, waste management, or circular economy
Preferred Experience
Experience in sales, marketing, or business developmentExposure to working with corporates, schools, municipalities, or SMEsExperience in commission-based or target-driven roles
