Job Description
WWF-India is offering a full-time internship for the Mangrove Conservation Project in Mumbai. Interns will conduct creek surveys, collect and analyze data, engage volunteers, facilitate training, and manage project events. Candidates must be from Mumbai, skilled in relevant fields, and available for 6 months. A stipend of ₹8,000 - 10,000 per month is provided. The internship is suitable for women looking to start or restart their careers.
About the internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct creek surveys and perform data collection, analysis, and reporting
2. Engage and coordinate with volunteers for project activities
3. Facilitate training, capacity building, and ongoing monitoring initiatives
4. Manage and execute events related to project objectives

Other Requirements:
1. Post Graduate degree in Zoology/Botany/Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Life sciences, or allied fields.2. Language proficiency in Marathi, English and Hindi.3. Skilled in field-based research within coastal habitats and ecosystems, with hands-on experience in biodiversity documentation, ecological assessments4. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and coordination skills.5. Ability to work effectively in field conditions and with diverse groups.
