💼 Renewable Energy / Solar & Battery Projects


Are you someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear, commercial insight? Keen to play a key role in shaping real-world renewable energy projects?


I’m working with a fast-growing, well-backed organisation in the clean energy space that’s looking to bring in a Renewables Analyst to support the development and delivery of solar and battery storage projects across the UK.


This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career (or looking to step up) who wants to sit at the intersection of data, commercial strategy, and sustainability.


🚀 What you’ll be doing:



Building and refining financial models for solar & battery projects (IRR, NPV, payback, etc.)
Analysing energy generation, consumption, and cost data to assess project viability
Supporting early-stage solar system design and yield analysis
Creating clear dashboards and reports to inform decision-making
Working closely with commercial, technical, and delivery teams
Conducting market and pricing research to strengthen project business cases

🔍 What they’re looking for:

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present complex data
Experience with tools like Excel (advanced), Power BI, SQL, Python or similar
Understanding of renewable energy project economics (solar and/or battery preferred)
Familiarity with concepts like IRR, NPV, PPA structures, and energy savings models
High attention to detail and a naturally curious, problem-solving approach
Degree in a numerate subject (e.g. Economics, Engineering, Maths, Finance, Science)

Bonus points for:

Experience with solar design tools (e.g. Helioscope, PV Sol)
Exposure to AutoCAD or GIS tools
Knowledge of behind-the-meter solar projects
