We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Systems Analyst to join our team at Idaho National Laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for sustainable energy production.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in technoeconomic assessment, lifecycle analysis, and industrial engineering. They will work closely with our team to advance bioenergy and industrial processes, applying their knowledge to assess pathways for scaling-up biofuel production.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and contribute to technoeconomic assessments and lifecycle analyses, developing new tools and techniques as needed.
• Contribute to building the team's scientific eminence through publications, presentations, and external engagement.
• Apply mathematical, statistical, and programming skills to design, develop, optimize, and test models that approximate physical entities or processes.
• Serve as a principal investigator (PI) on projects requiring originality, ingenuity, and strong project management.

Requirements
• PhD in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Economics, Forest Economics, Resource Economics, Applied Science, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in a related field.
• A sustained publication record in bioenergy, technoeconomic, or life cycle assessment research.
