Copeland is hiring a Climate Technology Educator in Boise, ID, to provide technical training on HVACR systems. The role requires strong presentation skills and collaboration with subject matter experts. We are seeking a skilled Climate Technology Educator to deliver technical training to customers, contractors, and employees on Copeland Commercial and Residential Cold Chain Electronics components and systems used in the HVAC/R industry.
The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation skills and be able to develop good working relationships with subject matter experts and Product Managers within the organization. Coordination of relevant content from the experts is key to adding material to a course to ensure all learning objectives are met.
The successful candidate will stay current with technology and the industry by participating in industry events and HVACR online educational communities.
The role includes coaching, guidance, and feedback to junior training staff and serving as the lead customer contact point at training events.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering curricula using instructor-led, electronic/web-based, and/or multimedia training methods and formats
• Conducting standard and custom classes per customer requirements
• FOLLOWING GOOD PEDAGOGY PRACTICES FOR TEACHING ADULTS
• Coordinating the development of course material to cover learning objectives; adjusting learning objectives accordingly
• Evaluating training material for improvements
• Continuing self-study to understand all technologies that are part of the curricula
