Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Project Manager to expand our Renewable Energy practice in Baltimore, MD!


Responsibilities

The qualified individual will help lead a Renewable Energy team while building and managing relationships with key clients.
Coordinate or direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to ensure that wind project needs and objectives are met.
Leadership responsibilities include:

Operating with integrity and sound business principles
Providing vision, business planning and strategy
Establishing goals
Building and maintaining positive client relationships
Having open communication with your partners and team
Growing and leading a Renewable Energy practice

Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor.
The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant experience managing renewable energy or related projects
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for wind energy projects
Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
Strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D, Excel, and/or GIS
Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
Demonstrated ability to manage renewable energy projects profitably
