The company currently operates hundreds of megawatt-hours in ERCOT and has a multi-gigawatt-hour development pipeline spanning more than ten states. Role Overview
Our client is seeking an Associate, Project Finance to support financing activities across its growing portfolio of utility-scale energy assets. This individual will play an important role in evaluating, structuring, and executing project financings while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external financing partners. This role is ideal for an analytical and highly motivated finance professional seeking to develop deep expertise in renewable energy project finance within a fast growing platform.
Duties & Responsibilities



Support the execution of debt, tax equity, and structured equity financings
Assist with financial modeling, transaction structuring, and valuation analyses
Prepare financing materials, lender presentations, investment memoranda, and internal approval materials
Coordinate diligence activities with lenders, investors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Review and organize transaction documentation and support closing processes
Perform project-level economic analyses, sensitivity analyses, and return assessments
Maintain and update project finance models throughout transaction execution
Coordinate with development, legal, accounting, engineering, and asset management teams to support financing activities
Assist in evaluating acquisition and development opportunities
Conduct market research on financing trends, capital markets activity, and industry developments

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in renewable energy project finance, investment banking, structured finance, infrastructure investing, private equity, or related fields
Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
Experience supporting project finance or M&A transactions preferred
Understanding of renewable energy markets and financing structures preferred
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
