Categories: Research & Laboratory, Full Time
Position Description: The Center for Experimental &
Applied Economics (CEAE) at the University of Delaware seeks a
qualified candidate to serve as a postdoc researcher for a one-year
appointment, renewable for up to three years dependent on available
funding and performance. The selected candidate will contribute to
experimental economics research in the Risks, Impacts, &

long-term climate resilience.
Opportunities: The successful candidate will have the
opportunity to co-author several publications, participate in
professional conferences and engage with community stakeholders and
other agencies working on climate adaptation strategies along
coastal communities. The successful candidate will work with
economists in CEAE and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
of researchers from Delaware, Rhode Island, and South Carolina.
With this team, the successful candidate will contribute to
innovative experimental economic research and will have additional
opportunities to co-develop decision support systems (DSSs) and
educational materials, including economic games. This successful
candidate will work on a project team with Drs. Leah Palm-Forster,
Christina McGranaghan, and Kent Messer.
The University of Delaware is located in scenic Newark,

preference for candidates specializing in environmental,
agricultural, and resource issues. Strong training in experimental
design and interest in community-engaged research is highly
desirable. Strong writing and communication skills are required.
Experience with writing grant proposals is welcomed, but not
necessary.
