Job Purpose

A Herc Portable Climate Solutions Sales Representative will drive revenue within their designated territory by developing business relationships and providing customer focused solutions to our customers to resolve their climate and remediation challenges. This role is a subject matter expert and consults for internal and external customers in the application of our fleet of portable generators, portable HVAC and heating units, desiccant dehumidifiers, industrial fans and air scrubbers. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters.

What you will do...



Daily territory management to gain new accounts and meet or exceed rental revenue goals through visits to various customer job sites/officesDevelop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goalsCultivate effective "cross selling" activity through and with our existing sales resourcesCarry out direct sales for priority segments, create effective sales plansIdentify customer needs and collaborate with operations to deliver on those needsUnderstand market conditions and competitive environment to maximize pricing opportunityOptimize product and service offerings to diversify customer base and reach additional market segmentsMake formal presentations to customer decision-makers and educate them on equipmentCoordinate the implementation and maintenance of new services for customersReport sales activity through use of CRM and other toolsDemonstrate active participation in Herc Rentals Safety Culture, always prioritizing the safety of team members and customers alikeSupport all team membersLearn and follow all company procedures and protocols

Requirements

Experience within the equipment rental industry and/or within the pump, power, and climate control market highly desiredComputer skills to support entering information into systemsInterpersonal skillsTeamworkListening skillsDependabilityBA/BS University degree or equivalent
