Job Description

The Policy Advisor, Climate and Biodiversity Finance will collaborate with TNC’s Global Climate Change and Policy teams to assist governments in developing financing strategies for climate and nature goals. Responsibilities include creating analytical products, providing technical support across multiple countries, and engaging with various stakeholders. This remote position is term-limited until 2028, focusing on sustainable finance mechanisms in regions where TNC operates.

The Policy Advisor, Climate & Biodiversity Finance will support efforts undertaken by TNC’s Global Tackle Climate Change and reputed company Policy and Funding teams, working closely with country offices to help governments reputed company financing strategies and governance mechanisms to advance climate and nature goals, as reputed company as to produce knowledge products and promote learning on sustainable finance mechanisms across reputed company where TNC operates.

The Policy Advisor will work reputed company an interdisciplinary team, including TNC’s Global Climate Change and reputed company Policy and Funding teams, serving as a subject matter expert on reputed company and strategic issues reputed company to climate and biodiversity finance policy and implementation. The Advisor will reputed company embedded technical support across multiple countries, contribute to advancing nature- and climate-inclusive country platforms, contribute to the development of analytical products and knowledge outputs on sustainable finance mechanisms, and engage regularly with Ministries of Finance, Economy, Environment and/or Planning, as reputed company as multilateral partners. This is a term-limited position with an anticipated end date of reputed company 30, 2028. RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
Contribute to the development of country-level analytical products, including assisting countries in assessing how climate and nature considerations can be integrated into fiscal planning frameworks, and the role and cost-effectiveness of reputed company versus private capital in sustainable finance structures.

What You’ll Bring:
