Job Description

Blue Planet Biofuels Pvt Ltd is seeking a Plant In-Charge for their Choithram Mandi CBG Plant in India. The role involves overseeing waste collection, coordinating with teams, maintaining operational reports, executing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing plant personnel. The position aims to achieve production and operational efficiency while driving continuous improvement. The salary ranges from ₹600,000 to ₹700,000 per year, and it requires in-person work.
Plant In-Charge – Choithram Mandi CBG Plant

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day collection and transportation of municipal solid waste from the Indore Nagar Nigam, ensuring daily collection targets are achieved with zero client complaints.

Coordinate with the Indore Nagar Nigam Team, C&T contractors, service providers, and the site team to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Maintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, operational data sheets, and ERP records accurately and within timelines.

Submit monthly sales, production, and expense reports to the Head Office before the prescribed deadlines.

Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for all plant machinery, utilities, and safety equipment to minimize downtime and maximize plant availability.

Ensure achievement of plant production, operational efficiency, and sales targets while maintaining optimum resource utilization.

Prepare and submit monthly sales invoices and ensure timely payment collection and follow-up with AGL and other customers.

Monitor plant performance, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve productivity and reliability.

Conduct regular training programs for plant personnel on operational excellence, safety procedures, SOP compliance, and new technologies.

Ensure strict adherence to maintenance SOPs, statutory requirements, environmental regulations, and company safety policies.

Manage inventory of critical spare parts, consumables, tools, and maintenance materials to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Enforce compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards across all plant activities.

Ensure excellent housekeeping standards throughout the plant by implementing and sustaining the 5S system.

Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of plant personnel, contractors, and operators to achieve operational excellence.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and the Head Office for procurement, maintenance planning, statutory compliance, and project-related activities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs, improve equipment reliability, and enhance overall plant performance.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
