Plant Head

Birla Carbon is seeking a Plant Head to oversee plant operations in Bihar, India. The role involves planning, budgeting, and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing costs and financial systems. Candidates must have Carbon Black experience and be flexible to relocate. Responsibilities include enhancing work culture, promoting safety, and meeting marketing demands. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirement.
Job purpose: To plan, direct and monitor resources and operations of the plant to achieve targeted EVA by meeting market demand at optimum cost in a competitive environment and contribute to the strategies for benchmarked improvements.

Location: Multiple Locations. Candidates should be mobile and flexible for any location.

Reporting: To Chief Manufacturing Officer, Asia

Must have: Carbon Black experience

Responsibilities -
• Planning & Budgeting : Evolve 3 years rolling operational and capex plan for the unit and monitor its implementation to meet EVA ( Economic Value Addition ) Targets.
• Customer Satisfaction: Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring quality, quantity, response & delivery time.
• Cost Management Ensure variable cost and fixed cost is within budgeted norms and plan for benchmarked improvements.
• Financial : Establish and oversee the financial system and process to ensure correct reports and financial discipline
• People Development : Ensure leadership across all levels, team building and inducing high moral for better work culture.
• System Management : Promote and ensure effective implementation of world-class systems
• Marketing : Ensure meeting marketing requirements on daily basis.
• Safety, Health and Environmental Management : Ensure safe working conditions and pollution free environment
