Operations Technician - Biomass Power

Astute People is hiring an Operations Technician for a Biomass Power Station in Lincolnshire. The role involves ensuring safe and efficient plant operations, operating mobile equipment, supporting panel operators, and performing maintenance tasks. Astutes Power Team are currently recruiting an Operations Technician to join a Power Station in Lincolnshire. You will be working on a shift basis & be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient & compliant operations of the power plant.

The Operations Technician role is ~£20/hour PAYE

Key skills required for the Operations Technician Engineer role

Operating mobile plant including FLT, 360 excavators, telehandler, front loading shovel etc. As well as operating the overhead cranes
Supporting the Panel Operators with taking manual readings & adjustments of the plant.
Ensuring the plant is operating within its parameters whilst complying with strict HSE rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Carrying out first line maintenance duties when required in order to keep plan running smoothly.
Working within the Company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
Additional duties may involve operation of the weighbridge, plant checks and site cleaning duties
