Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Senior Consultant for Lifecycle Assessment in Kennesaw, GA. This role involves business development, project management, and providing technical leadership in lifecycle assessment and decarbonization practices. The consultant will develop ISO-compliant LCA models, engage with clients, and mentor staff. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least 8 years of experience in LCA assessments. About the position

The Senior Consultant - Lifecycle Assessment at Geosyntec is a pivotal role focused on expanding the Lifecycle Assessment and Decarbonization Practice. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to business development and technical leadership, aimed at providing strategic solutions to complex environmental challenges. The consultant will engage in project management, serve as a subject matter expert, and contribute to the development and implementation of life cycle assessment strategies for various regulatory and non-regulatory applications.

Responsibilities
• Lead business development, project management, and technical efforts for life cycle assessment and carbon quantification projects.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on life cycle assessment strategies and methodologies for regulatory and non-regulatory applications.
,
• Utilize the Argonne National Laboratory GREET model and other commercial LCA software for project execution.
,
• Understand client needs and provide sustainable solutions considering costs and benefits of carbon management.
,
• Maintain visibility in the marketplace through client engagement and participation in professional organizations.
,
• Act as a senior technical consultant providing expertise in project management and regulatory matters.
,
• Develop ISO 14040/44 compliant LCA models and reports.
,
• Guide LCAs through third-party critical review processes.
,
• Perform technical analyses, including data collection and QA/QC.
,
• Communicate findings to clients through reports and presentations.
,
• Manage projects and staff, providing technical leadership and mentoring.
,
• Assist in recruiting and training new staff.
,
• Promote company culture and values across the organization.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in environmental, mechanical, or chemical engineering or a similar discipline.
,
• At least 8 years of professional and project management experience in relevant fields.
,
• Experience performing LCA assessments and reporting.
,
• Strong data management and computational skills.
,
• Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and high-level modeling tools.
,
• Ability to align LCA results with climate regulations to identify value-creation opportunities.
,
• Knowledge of industry standards including Greenhouse Gas Protocol, ISO 14067, SBTi, TCFD, and CDP.
,
• Excellent communication skills.

• CARB-accredited LCFS lead verifier certification.
