About Your Role

As a Junior Consultant in our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team, your contributions will be essential to our success. You will support the management and delivery of environmental consultancy services to diverse clients, assisting in the preparation and execution of EIAs and other environmental tasks.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop site selection reports for offshore wind farms and communicate effectively with our technical specialists to formulate mitigation strategies.
• Help implement cutting-edge digital EIA approaches for enhanced efficiency.
• Coordinate land access for environmental surveys, including archaeological assessments.
• Contribute to developing a stakeholder engagement strategy.
• Assist in refining Environmental Statements for submission.

Qualifications We Seek
• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant environmental discipline, focusing on EIA or SEA.
• Postgraduate experience in a similar role within the UK or a region with comparable environmental legislation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with high computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
• A keen understanding of health and safety best practices.
• Interest or experience in conducting specialized environmental surveys, such as ecology assessments, noise measurements, or air quality monitoring.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and potentially internationally.
• Knowledge of UK environmental and planning laws, particularly regarding EIA.
• Understanding of various technical disciplines essential for EIA.
• Membership in the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or a relevant professional organization is preferred.
