Graduate Health and Safety Advisor

Position Overview:

As a Graduate Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment at our manufacturing site in St Helens. You will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced manager, gaining valuable hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing effective control measures to mitigate workplace hazards.
• Developing and delivering health and safety training programs for employees at all levels.
• Investigating incidents and near misses, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
• Keeping abreast of relevant health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Strong passion for health, safety, and environmental sustainability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant internships or work experience is a plus but not required.
