Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesLoad trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirementsLoad and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting deviceMonitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materialsWeigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedulesKeep production lines supplied with raw materialsInventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie productUnload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting deviceAdapt schedule to work alongside the changing demands of the warehouseCommunicate with floor lead – maintenance issues, downtime, production issues, unacceptable or non-conforming loads, poor bale quality, or any other issues with material being handledMeet all company safety policies and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machinesSpecial projects as business dictateDuties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned
