Job Description

International Paper Co is hiring a Production Associate for their Cambridge, MD facility. The role involves assisting machine operators, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and operational standards. Candidates should be able to read documents, communicate effectively, and perform basic math. The position offers a pay rate of $19.11/hr for full-time shifts and includes benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.

The Job You Will Perform:

Assist the operator / assistant operator of a machine center with the quality of all products.
Comply with all required plant and OSHA rules.
Work together in a team environment in a safe, efficient and effective manner to ensure the production of a quality product.
Must comply and support all applicable GMPs, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in the facilities GFSI food packaging safety program.

Ensure safety, quality of product produced, all reports and or data collection, and effective operation of the machine center.
Assist the machine center as needed to maximize the setup and operation of the machine center in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned by any member of management.

The Skills You Will Bring:

Ability to read and interpret written documents i.e. safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure (standard and metric), using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read a standard and metric tape measure.
