Environmental Technician I

Environmental Staffing Resources is hiring an Environmental Technician I in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time, entry-level position involves waste handling, forklift operation, and record keeping. Your Main Tasks:
• Waste handling (hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals)
• Recover/transport/dispose of industrial waste (chemicals, oils, greases)
• Forklift operation
• Material handling
• Record keeping

Requirements:
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Selected candidates will be required to complete paid OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license (Preferred)

Education:
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Schedule:
• Monday-Friday
• 1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM (Temporarily working 6 AM – 4 PM)
• 2nd Shift: 3 PM – 11:30 PM

You Need to Be Able to:
• Keep it a drug-free workplace
• Be punctual and reliable
• Work well with others
• Stand and walk throughout the workday
• Lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Commute to the job site

• No weekends
• Overtime
