PIH Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician for night shifts in Downey, ID. The role involves various cleaning tasks to maintain high standards, including floor care, dusting, and cleaning patient areas. Responsibilities also include the removal of trash and soiled linen, and maintaining cleaning equipment. The Environmental Services Technician performs a variety of cleaning tasks under general direction. In order to achieve the highest cleaning standards possible the Environmental Services Technician performs floor care, dust mopping sweeping outside areas, scrubbing, stripping, and buffing, shampooing and spill removal. Damp washing of counters, telephones, desks, ledges, etc. Washing light fixtures, ceiling, and walls involves use of ladders or step stools. Trash and soiled linen removal. Isolation room cleaning as prescribed in written procedures. Changing of cubical curtains and drapes. Cleaning and maintaining of environmental tools and equipment. Cleaning of occupied patient areas and dismissals. Cleaning other related duties as assigned to ensure the highest quality of service throughout the facility.
