Environmental Serv Tech Senior

Hinds County, Mississippi is hiring an Environmental Serv Tech Senior responsible for cleaning and maintaining various facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing inventory. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a starting salary of $29,217. The role requires independent work and effective communication with staff.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.





Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other staff.





Comply with all applicable safety and health related rules, regulations, and procedures.





Perform job requirements; including but not limited to the following: clean floors, vacuuming of carpets, empty trash, clean stairwells, elevators, entrance ways, perform dusting and polishing, glass and restrooms, etc.





Maintaining a thorough inventory.





Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners





Collecting and taking out trash and recycling.





Secure equipment at the end of each shift.





All assigned work will be performed by the schedule.





Performs other duties as assigned.





Qualifications





A high school diploma or GED and one (1) year work experience and four (4) years related experience.
