Environmental Scientist/Geologist

Weston & Sampson seeks an Environmental Scientist/Geologist with 0-3 years of experience for their Foxborough, MA office. Weston & Sampson is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist/Geologist with 0-3 years of experience in our Reading or Foxborough Massachusetts offices.

What you'll do:
• Experienced and familiar with, or excited to learn about, performing environmental sampling, oversight of environmental remediation and construction projects, inspections of constructed sites, report preparation associated with environmental activities, assuring compliance with contract specifications and plans.
• Collecting field samples for screening and/or laboratory analysis (air, soil, groundwater, and water).
• Required to work long hours at environmental sites documenting and inspecting work.
• Ability to handle flexible workload, diverse project files, and work well with multiple staff members.

What you'll bring:
• Associate degree in engineering or environmental science or Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology or related field.
• 0 to 3 years of experience.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS and AutoCAD considered a plus
• Experience working in field setting (construction oversight, soils logging, drilling oversight) a plus but not required.
• A positive attitude and able to communicate effectively with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel will be required to conduct field work (valid driver's license is required).
• Able to handle flexible workload.
• Work well with multiple staff members.
