Trileaf Corporation is hiring a full-time Environmental Project Scientist for their Phoenix, AZ office. The role requires 0-1 year of field experience in environmental due diligence, including conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments. Essential tasks involve site visits, data analysis, report drafting, and fieldwork to collect samples. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to travel.

Job Summary:
Trileaf is seeking a full-time Environmental Project Scientist for our Phoenix, Arizona office with at least 0-1 year of field experience conducting environmental due diligence work on commercial real estate projects, to include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments Phase I ESAs and Phase II ESAs
Essential Job Functions:
• Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site (3-4 days per week)
• Conducting interviews, in person, via email, and phone
• Ordering & analyzing government database records
• Performing regulatory agency file reviews
• Reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs)
• Drafting of a standardized report using information from these various sources
• Perform QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients
• Completing requested revisions & submitting report within pre-established timelines
• Conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air
• Compare analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards
Basic Qualifications:

• NEPA Assessments
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
• Licensed Asbestos Inspector
• Management
• Mold assessment experience
• Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM E1903)
• Property Condition Assessments (ASTM E2018)
• Transaction Screen Assessments (ASTM E1528)
• Record Search with Risk Assessments (SBA SOP 50 10 6)
• Environmental Professional (EP)
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields
