EnVision Consultants Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Project Coordinator in Newmarket, ON. The role involves coordinating field work, preparing technical reports, and managing client communications. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential. As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:
• Co-ordination and execution of field work associated with our services (Phase One and Two ESA, soil movement, remediation, and other related disciplines in the field)
• Preparation of technical reports
• Communications with clients to assist with the development and execution of work
• Assistance with proposal preparation
• Ensuring high quality technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables
• Fostering an atmosphere of continuous improvement
• Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment
• Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs
• Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects
• Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed
• Any other functions assigned as part of your employment

To apply to this position, you should expect to have:
• Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role/environment
• Ontario licensed P.Eng. or P.Geo., or eligibility for a P.Eng. or P.Geo. in Ontario is an asset, but not a requirement
• A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance
• Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills
• Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers
• Ability to progress towards working independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
