EWI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Environmental Planner/Regulatory Specialist in Irvine, CA. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planner/Regulatory Specialist to join our team in Irvine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing environmental assessments, reports, and compliance documentation for various projects. This role involves working closely with regulatory agencies, ensuring that all activities meet environmental laws and standards, and facilitating the permitting process. You will conduct site assessments, evaluate potential environmental impacts, and develop mitigation strategies to address any identified concerns.



Key responsibilities include conducting environmental reviews and analyses, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing expert guidance on regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations and policies, preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders, and engaging with community members to address environmental issues. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.



Qualifications for this role include a degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field, along with relevant experience in environmental planning or regulatory compliance. Familiarity with CEQA, NEPA, and other regulatory frameworks is essential. Strong project management skills and proficiency with GIS software are highly desirable.
