Environmental Intern (Ecology) – Summer 2026

HNTB Corporation is seeking an Environmental Intern (Ecology) for Summer 2026 in Atlanta, GA. The role involves assisting project teams with research, data collection, and maintaining project records. Candidates should be enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, preferably with a focus on Environmental Science or Ecology. This is a part-time, temporary position, and relocation or housing is not provided.

This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.

Our Atlanta, GA office is seeking an Environmental Intern with a focus in Ecology for summer 2026.

Relocation and housing are not provided for this role.

What You’ll Do:
• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.

What You’ll Need:
• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer:
• Ability to assist project team members with various support tasks including field surveys.
• Seeking a degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Forestry, Fisheries & Wildlife, or related field.
• Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
