Position
Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for an Environmental Health & Safety Technician position. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

The Environmental Health and Safety Technician is a paraprofessional and administrative class providing specialized technical support to the safety, occupational health, and environmental programs of a department. The class reports to a higher-level Environmental Health & Safety position and provides technical support under direction. The class may provide routine training and conduct minor accident investigation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Either 1. Completion of 60 semester (90 quarter) units, from an accredited college or university, which includes at least 12 semester (18 quarter) units in specific courses related to occupational health and safety or environmental safety.
AND
One year of full-time paid experience performing duties associated with occupation health and safety or environmental programs.
Or 2. Two years of full-time paid experience performing duties associated with occupational health and safety programs, environmental regulations/research or a combination of both.
