Job Description

Insight Global is hiring an Environmental Health Safety Coordinator in Portland, OR. The role involves enforcing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting safety culture. Key responsibilities include implementing health and safety programs, supporting training initiatives, and managing emergency response plans. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of EHS experience. The position is contract-based with a salary of $25–27 per hour.
The Health & Safety Coordinator will enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations at company locations. This role supports health and safety initiatives, assesses risks, and promotes a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain workplace health and safety programs.

• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and accident investigations.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Support training initiatives and incident reporting processes.

• Analyze safety data and drive continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with various business units to execute safety strategies.

• Manage emergency response plans and compliance for vendors and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 3 years of EHS experience.

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk management, and incident investigation.
