Insight Global is hiring an Environmental Compliance Manager in Los Angeles, CA. Job Overview

The Environmental Compliance Manager handles the landfill budget, oversees spending, and manages the team during site development. They ensure the landfill follows all regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Projects: Handle landfill construction projects, including planning and resource coordination.
Financial Management: Oversee budget and spending for construction, development, and operations.
Permits and Compliance: Prepare and submit permits, ensure regulatory compliance, and respond to inspections.
Support Site Managers: Help with planning and reviewing acquisitions.
Public Relations: Communicate with corporate office, regulators, consultants, and investors.
Reporting: Complete soil tracking and other status reports.
Supervise Staff: Hire, train, and manage environmental technicians and specialists.
Attend Meetings: Participate in regulatory and policy meetings.
Monitor Compliance: Ensure air and water monitoring and reporting.

Other Duties
Perform additional tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

4 years of Project Management or Consultant experience directly in a landfill
Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, permits, landfill requirements, etc.
