About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Chemist to join our team. As an Environmental Chemist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. This includes performing chemical analyses of various types of waste using approved EPA test methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform preparation techniques and instrumental analysis of environmental samples for the determination of organic and inorganic constituents.">
• Participate in the generation of SOPs and Work Instructions (WI), under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager.">
• Prepare samples for laboratory equipment.">
• Utilize and understand essential functions for instrument sequencing and data processing.">
• Validate methods for testing the content of organics, inorganics using a wide variety of processes and instrumentation.">

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.">
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.">
• Knowledge of chemistry principles and practices including analysis and evaluation, and waste processing protocols.">
