Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Insight Global is hiring an Environment, Health and Safety Manager in New Haven, CT, with a salary range of $105,000 - $125,000. Salary: $105,000 - 125,0000

Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s Degree in an Environmental Health and Safety related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years of construction site safety management experience
• OSHA 30
• Recognized Safety Professional Certification (Examples: BCSP, CSP, CHST, ASP, GSP)
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification
• Experience working on large projects in excess $10M range or higher.
• An in-depth knowledge of OSHA Regulations

Plusses:
• OSHA 500
• 1st Aid/CPR trainer experience
• Bilingual

Day-to-Day:

Our client is looking to bring on an EHS manager supporting their client in New Haven, CT.
• Facilitate pre-construction review and planning activities.
• Conduct frequent physical inspections of the site, risk assessments, review Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) documents and give feedback
• Effectively communicate with all persons on the jobsite.
• Actively identify potential hazards.
• Notify responsible parties when immediate corrective actions are required.
• Effectively administer a progressive disciplinary program.
• Able to perform basic computer operations.
