Position Overview:

The Energy Management System (EMS) support group (ESG) is responsible for maintaining the digital representation of the transmission grid. This includes the management of data and functionality within the EMS and Total Outage Application (iTOA), ensuring that all model-related changes are accurately executed and updated.

As an Energy Systems Engineer, you will:

Conduct engineering tasks on critical and complex projects.Work independently while collaborating with team members for effective solutions.Support the EMS application functionality and offer real-time operations support to the System Operations staff.Develop and review operating procedures, specifications, and performance assessments.Key Responsibilities:

Conduct engineering analyses and implement projects with a medium impact on financial and operational aspects.Serve as a subject matter expert in specific areas, possibly delivering training sessions.Evaluate and recommend solutions based on studies of internal and external systems, processes, and equipment.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a licensed Professional Engineer.4-7 years of relevant professional engineering experience.Strong analytical skills to interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.Familiarity with engineering designs, principles, and field test equipment.Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate degree or advanced work in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management Certification.Strong reputation for collaborative teamwork and effective communication across all management levels.Location: This is a hybrid position based out of our Kennett Square, PA office, requiring employees to be in the office at least three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Compensation and Benefits:
