The California Public Utilities Commission is hiring a full-time Energy Planning Data Analyst in Los Angeles, CA. The Integrated Resource Planning
Team is seeking a Energy Planning Data Analyst to provide program oversight and policy/technical analysis to support the state’s resource and infrastructure planning efforts, including providing a team lead role in the Integrated Resource Planning process. This is a position where you will be contributing to solving some of the most important challenges facing California in regards to climate change and energy planning. Due to the complexity, statewide impact, monetary scope, and level of policy development involved, projects assigned to this position will be subject to close attention from Commissioners, Administrative Law Judges, and executive management.
This may also include interaction with the media, the Legislature, and other agencies.
Under general direction of the Project and Program Supervisor, the Energy Planning Data Analyst will advise and assist high-level decision-makers such as Commissioners, Judges, and Energy Division management.
