📋 Key Responsibilities



Data Collection & Verification:
Gather, clean, and verify public transit, bus routes, and transit hub data to ensure our routing system is flawless.
Competitor & Web Extraction:
Research and extract transit and route information from various online directories, mapping platforms, and public transport websites.
Route Mapping Optimization:
Analyze user search logs (like "route not found" analytics) to identify coverage gaps and systematically build out missing route configurations.
Data Maintenance:
Maintain high-quality master data sheets, correcting duplicates, mapping landmarks to exact coordinates, and creating robust data pipelines.

🎯 Requirements & Qualifications

Experience Level:
Entry-level. Fresh graduates or individuals looking to kickstart their data careers are highly encouraged to apply!
Excel Power User:
Mastery of advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, advanced text manipulation, and data cleaning workflows).
Data Analytics Mindset:
Solid foundational skills in data analysis, with the ability to interpret search logs, identify trends, and translate raw data into actionable route improvements.
Web Extraction Interest:
Proven ability or strong willingness to learn how to extract data from websites (via manual scraping, browser extensions, or basic online tools).
Local Geography Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with Karachi's geography, major landmarks, roads, and transit patterns to instinctively verify route sanity.
Problem-Solving Mindset:
A sharp eye for detail—someone who catches a missing stop or a mismatched coordinate immediately.
