Energy Analyst

The Legends Agency is hiring an Energy Analyst in Cape Town, South Africa. The role involves working on renewable energy projects, market intelligence, and stakeholder engagement. Candidates should have a postgraduate degree and at least 3 years of experience in the energy sector, particularly in South Africa. Strong communication and data management skills are required. This is a full-time contract position until March 2025, with a possibility of renewal.
OverviewOur client is looking for Dynamic Analysts who will be exposed to a wide range of projects in the energy field, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, electric vehicles and smart grids. This role aims to provide technical and economic skills to the energy team. The candidate must have a passion for the South African renewable energy market and be interested in travelling around the world.
Postgraduate degree (and relevant work experience) in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Resource Management.


3+ years relevant experience


Understanding of the South African energy sector.


Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection and dissemination


Effective Report Writing
Experience in engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders
