Director, Analytics Product Lead - Sustainable Finance Sustainable Fitch (SuF) is seeking a dynamic Director, Product Owner to join our growing team in Chicago or New York. We'll Count on You To: Own and shape data products end-to-end, translating customer and business needs into clear features, priorities, and product direction. Design and refine data-centric features such as calculated fields, indicators, schema changes, and reusable data structures that improve usability and impact. Prototype and validate new product ideas, using data analysis and lightweight experimentation to turn ambiguous opportunities into practical MVPs. Drive data quality and product reliability by identifying issues, validating outputs, and partnering with engineering and domain teams to improve trust in core data assets. Advance AI- and analytics-ready product capabilities by helping structure data for reuse across reporting, automation, and emerging AI use cases.

What You Need to Have: Significant experience building data products or closely related solutions, with a track record of turning complex data into practical, high-value capabilities. Strong hands-on data skills, including SQL and comfort using Python or R to explore, validate, and prototype with data. Strong product instincts, including customer empathy, sound prioritization, and comfort turning messy problems into actionable product decisions. A builder mindset, with a bias toward testing, iterating, and getting to practical solutions quickly. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

What Would Make You Stand Out: Prior experience as an analyst, data analyst, data scientist, or data/analytics engineer Exposure to a wide variety of datasets including different domains, structures and formats Background in financial services or ESG data Passion for design and UX, with a focus on creating intuitive, visually appealing assets that enhance understanding and usability.
