Job Description
The Digby Wells Environmental 2026 Bursary Programme in South Africa seeks passionate students in Environmental Science, GIS, and related fields. Requirements
Fields of Study
We invite applications from students pursuing or intending to pursue qualifications in the following disciplines: Environmental Science / Environmental Management. Hydrology / Hydrogeology. Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Aquatic Ecology Social Sciences / Sociology. Stakeholder Engagement / Community Development.
Eligibility Criteria Applicants must: Be a South African citizen. Be enrolled or intending to enroll at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa. Demonstrate academic excellence and a genuine passion for environmental sustainability. Have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to contributing to society and the environment.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit: A motivational letter explaining why they wish to pursue a career in the environmental sector and how they align with Digby Wells’ values. A certified copy of their ID document. Academic transcripts or latest results. Proof of registration or provisional acceptance at a tertiary institution. An updated CV with contact details. Service Obligation Successful bursary recipients may be required to: Participate in vacation work or internships at Digby Wells Environmental during academic breaks. Work for Digby Wells Environmental for a period equivalent to the duration of their bursary funding, after graduation.
