Performance & Strategic Analytics Analyst

Overview

Our client is seeking a Performance & Strategic Analytics Analyst to join a high-performing reporting and analytics function. This position sits at the intersection of performance analysis, data infrastructure, and strategic reporting. The individual will work closely with investment professionals, operations, and technology teams to enhance reporting capabilities, improve scalability, and support data-driven decision-making across multiple investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute complex, long-term initiatives, including process optimization and automation, while adapting to changing priorities and business needs.Deliver analytical insights and reporting support to senior leadership and investment professionals, particularly relating to macroeconomic and market data trends.Partner with technical teams to design, build, and maintain scalable reporting and data infrastructure across a range of investment products and strategies.Anticipate and respond to internal stakeholder and client reporting needs with timely, accurate, and high-quality analysis.Support the standardization and enhancement of reporting processes and workflows.Synthesize large volumes of financial and market-related data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.Environment

This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values teamwork, adaptability, and initiative. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic setting, managing multiple priorities, and learning new tools and processes quickly.

Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in asset management, investment management, financial services, or data/analytics roles, preferably with exposure to credit or alternative investments.Advanced proficiency in SQL is required. Experience with Python, Power BI, and/or cloud-based data platforms is a plus.Strong project management skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.Experience leveraging AI/LLM tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, or accelerate development processes is a plus.Strong experience working with large-scale datasets and presenting complex findings clearly to stakeholders.Knowledge of data governance, validation, and documentation best practices.Advanced Excel skills required.Progress toward or interest in pursuing professional certifications (e.g., CFA) is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
