As part of our team, you'll work closely with experienced managers and crews to deliver transmission, distribution, and substation & switchyard services. The ideal candidate will have experience in the transmission line industry and a strong foundation in environmental compliance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure project adherence to all environmental regulations and standards, specifically focusing on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requirements.
• Conduct pre-construction clearance surveys to identify and mitigate potential environmental impacts.
• Perform Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) inspections, ensuring all protocols are followed to prevent sediment/erosion pollution.
• Monitor the project area for species of concern, ensuring the protection of wildlife and natural habitats during construction activities.
• Assist in conducting environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations.
• Perform regular field inspections to ensure compliance with environmental best management practices and project specifications.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably in the transmission line or energy infrastructure industry.
• Experience conducting pre-construction surveys, SWPPP inspections, and biological monitoring.
