Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team our client’s in the Wellington area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction, with a focus on managing and supervising construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow
• Supervise and train construction crew members, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations
• Ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations
• Manage materials and equipment inventory, ordering supplies as needed
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and budgets

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or national diploma in civil engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proficient in using construction management software
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
