Job Description

Climate First Bank is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst in South Carolina to analyze financials, create loan approval packages, and monitor loan performance. We're looking for a Credit Analyst who will analyze personal and business financials, create comprehensive loan approval packages, make recommendations to senior management and credit committees, monitor loan portfolio performance, and support reporting that helps guide sound lending decisions.

What You'll Contribute:Analyze Financials and Credit RequestsAnalyze personal and business financials for potential and existing loan customers. Evaluate financial documents, reports, causalities, and scenarios with strong logic, context, and attention to detail. Apply sound mathematical, analytical, and big-picture thinking to support lending recommendations. Prepare Loan Approval PackagesCreate comprehensive loan approval packages that clearly summarize credit analysis and recommendations. Identify policy exceptions and ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and organized. Present recommendations to senior management and credit committees with clarity and professionalism. Monitor Portfolio Performance and Support Due DiligencePerform required monitoring of existing loan portfolio performance. Assist in the due diligence process for audits and exams. Handle customer, employee, and management interactions effectively and tactfully. Maintain Reporting Tools and Loan DatabasesMaintain various loan-related databases with accuracy and consistency. Use Microsoft Excel and Power BI to create, update, and analyze loan reports. Complete assignments with limited oversight while exercising sound judgment on when to ask questions or escalate.
