This is a hands-on engineering design position in RESPEC’s Transportation Market Sector and will include working on a variety of multidisciplinary design and construction projects. This is a great career opportunity for a dynamic, energetic individual looking to grow in their profession while gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of projects performed across Alaska.We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.QualificationsB.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institutionEngineer-in-Training or the ability to obtain within one year.Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency.Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams.Self-motivated, energetic, and able to take on new tasks.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.Detail oriented & well organized with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.Strong verbal & written communication skills.Must possess a valid driver s license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.Experience in constructionKnowledge of Civil3D modeling (corridors, grading, pipe models, etc.), quantities, calculations, and cost estimating is a plus.Experience in preparing design drawings and design calculations for utility, site and roadway improvement projects.Additional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.
