Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Climate Action Officer to lead and drive climate-responsive urban development initiatives under a government-led programme. The role involves providing strategic leadership, programme management, stakeholder coordination, climate policy implementation, and oversight of state-level climate action initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of climate action programmes at the state level.
Drive programme governance, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate with government departments, urban local bodies, and project stakeholders.
Oversee climate data management, digital monitoring systems, and programme reporting.
Support development of climate project pipelines, resilience initiatives, and sustainability programmes.
Guide multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful programme delivery and compliance.

Eligibility:

Ph.D. or Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Planning, Ecology, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
10-15 years of relevant professional experience in climate action, environmental management, urban development, sustainability, or related government/public sector programmes.
Strong experience in programme leadership, stakeholder management, and policy implementation is highly desirable.
