Job Description

YouLand is seeking a Capital Markets Associate with 2+ years of experience in fixed income, residential transitional loans, or related fields. The role involves managing relationships for loan trades, overseeing a bridge loan portfolio, and implementing risk management strategies. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is required, along with a GPA of 3.5+. The position is full-time and based in Menlo Park, CA, with a salary range of $80K–$140K.

With a focus on bridge loan expertise and innovative technology, we provide fast and reliable financing solutions. Since 2016, YouLand has funded over $1B+ of loans in 20 states nationwide.

Role Description

We are currently looking to hire a dynamic analyst to join Youland. The candidate will have 2+ years of background experience in any of the following industries: fixed income, residential transitional loans, structured finance, capital markets, real estate investing. This role will have a heavy emphasis in the residential transitional loan sector.

Examples of Roles & Responsibilities

Capital Markets
• Maintain relationships with takeout partners to execute whole loan trades
• Monitor and manage warehouse lines of credit to ensure sufficient capital for loan originations and ongoing operations.
• Collaborate with underwriting and origination teams to align loan products with investor requirements and market demand.

Asset Management
• Oversee the performance of the bridge loan portfolio, ensuring timely payment and compliance with loan terms.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate borrower defaults and safeguard portfolio health.
• Coordinate with legal teams on foreclosure processes and resolution of distressed assets.
• Provide detailed reporting to stakeholders, including capital partners and warehouse lenders, on portfolio performance and risk exposure.
• Manage loan modifications, extensions, or restructurings to optimize recovery and preserve asset value.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field at an established 4 year university
• GPA of 3.5+
• Fluent English
• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking
