Ramboll is seeking an experienced Biodiversity Impact Assessment Specialist to join their environmental consulting team in India. The role involves conducting biodiversity baseline surveys, impact assessments, and mitigation plans for various projects like infrastructure, energy, and mining, ensuring compliance with Indian regulations and international standards such as MoEFCC processes, Wildlife Protection Act, Biological Diversity Act, IFC Performance Standards, and IUCN/CBD guidance. Key responsibilities include leading field surveys, designing survey programs, identifying species, producing technical biodiversity chapters, applying impact assessment methods, conducting monitoring, utilizing GIS for spatial analysis, supporting permitting processes, liaising with stakeholders, contributing to client meetings, and ensuring quality control.
