Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asbestos Inspector to join our growing team. This position involves performing field inspections, collecting samples, and supporting environmental assessment projects across a variety of facility types.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in industrial hygiene and environmental consulting.


Key Responsibilities

Conduct asbestos building inspections in accordance with AHERA and applicable regulations
Collect bulk samples and document site conditions
Prepare clear and accurate field notes and inspection reports
Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and team members
Assist with additional services such as lead-based paint inspections, IAQ assessments, and radon testing (training provided as needed)
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications
Required:

Asbestos Building Inspector certification (AHERA) or ability to obtain quickly
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in field environments
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred:

Experience in asbestos, lead, or industrial hygiene
Additional certifications (Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, NIOSH 582, etc.)
Construction or environmental field background

Work Environment

Field-based work at commercial, healthcare, and institutional facilities
Combination of indoor and outdoor environments
Some ladder use, confined spaces, and PPE required
