The Investment Banking Firm is hiring an Analyst for Energy Transition in London. The role involves supporting M&A deals, financial analysis, modelling, and preparing marketing materials. We are an investment banking firm focused on the Energy Transition

headquartered in London with additional offices in Hamburg, Germany. The firm is active

across four pillars, namely M&A, debt advisory, intermediate capital, power offtake and

trading solutions and optimization.

About the role

The firm is seeking an analyst to join our office in London and to provide support in

executing existing M&A deals.

The successful candidate will join a team of highly experienced, passionate professionals

with extensive deal record in debt and equity advisory, structured finance and private equity

investments.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking in

M&A with a focus on renewable energy. The successful candidate will have worked on

acquisitions across UK/EU.

We expect the candidate to be a competent modeller and to be able to create proficient

PowerPoint presentations. The sought experience may have been obtained at a large

investment bank / specialised boutique or through a principal investor role. The candidate

should have good knowledge of the Infrastructure/Energy industry.

Responsibilities

 Conducting financial analysis and modelling to support the deal team in executing

transactions

 Building and updating financial models

 Preparing pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials

 Conducting research and analysis on companies, industries, and markets

 Participating in due diligence processes and assisting in the drafting of transaction

documents

 Interacting with clients and other stakeholders in the deal process

Skills

Strong financial modelling and analytical skills

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 Excellent organisational skills

 Analytical in approach and strong attention to detail

 Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

 Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
